Faith and Fire with David Watson and Kevin Watson [Firebrand Conversations]

Dr. David Watson is the President of Asbury Theological Seminary. Dr. Kevin Watson is the senior director of Christian Formation at Asbury Church in Tulsa, OK, and is also a faculty member at Asbury Theological Seminary. Together they have just released a new book, Faith and Fire: Methodism as a Move of God. In this video interview I asked David and Kevin about the essential components that are necessary for renewal in the Methodist/Wesleyan movement. We discuss the problems the church is facing, current cultural realities, the necessity of Spirit-filled ministry, and what we can learn from the way God is moving in the church around the globe. For anyone who is hoping to see God breathe new life into the people called Methodists, this is both an exciting and sobering conversation.
